V8A is an organization on BC's Upper Sunshine Coast which aims to develop an Energy Descent Action Plan (EDAP) for our region, encompassing many areas of concern. We believe that our region has great potential to be a leader in overcoming many of the challenges posed by peak oil, climate change, and geographical isolation. We believe that citizen involvement is critical in creating positive social change, and see ourselves as unleashing the creative spirit of our unique corner of the world.
